This restaurant is located at the top of the Alp Languard chairlift and has a beautiful view of the Bernina and other peaks. Our culinary experience (for lunch) was much less enthusiastic. Very unfriendly service, long wait (more than 45 minutes to get drinks and food). The mixing plate was nothing special and quite expensive. I guess their location allows them to treat their guests this way...
We had lunch there before our hike and everything was perfect. The service was efficient, the Alps Macaroni were the best we ever had, the sandwiches were really good. The view is also great. And we have ordered the monster Meringue and it is both very good and huuuge (contains 4 to 6 easy). The chocolate cake was something on the dry side (but also huge). And the prices are very reasonable for a mountain restaurant.
This is the end station of the Panoramaweg, which comes from Muottas Muragl. It is a small intimate and cozy place and the few people there at the end of the day were certainly happy and relaxed. There is a playground as a reward for the children who walked the trail. This is the beginning of the very long (at least 10 minutes, if not 15) chairlift departure to the magical city called Pontresina. As (almost) always- please see my photos.
Hard to review this restaurant without mentioning the gorgeous panorama it has. My wife and I split a delicious Raclette and a Goulash soup.
