We enjoyed the unexpected heatwave and sat outside in October, the view across the harbour was lovely, the service was very efficient and the staff were really welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious, can't wait for a repeat visit.

I phoned and made a reservation for Rosso’s and requested a table with a view of the quay and was told most of the tables had a view. When we arrived I told the waiter we had a reservation,he didn’t check my booking and seated us at a table in the middle of the restaurant, and offered us one outside, but it was too cold. The lighting was very strong and shone right in my son’s face. We were handed menus as we were seated and expected to be offered a drink quite quickly as is normal practice. The restaurant wasn’t very busy. After waiting 20 minutes we left and found another Italian further along the quay where we had a lovely meal.

The food was outstanding. We have a daughter with a dairy allergy and the waitress went above and beyond and made us feel as though it was no problem. She interacted with her and was fantastic, everything we asked for she was able to provide. She apologised about no vegan ice cream but gave us some amazing vegan chocolate cake as an alternative. Would highly recommend to anyone

A really nice birthday meal with a special treat.. Where to start? Friendly helpful staff. We had two picky children with us and the staff couldn 't have done more to help us. The meals came quickly and were perfect. The staff were friendly and upbeat. All of this and an amazing view to boot. We look forward to returning when next in Poole.
