Lakeside Fish And Chips And Takeaway

Was a shame the fish portion sizes have reduced, prices up, added service charge and extra for gluten free curry sauce. Food was still nice, good service, clean and nice ambiance.

Portions are now so small, no bread roll and to cap it all a price rise since l was there earlier in the year and now a compulsory 10% service charge.

We went in for takeaway fish and chips and were surprised to find the big restaurant behind the counter. We had a window table with great view of the sunset. The seafood platter was really good value but the best thing was the amazing waitress who was so friendly and such good fun.

Food was very average. Portion size was very small. The staff weren’t very friendly either. I definitely wouldn’t hurry back as there are plenty of other fish and chip places locally which are far better.

Very disappointed with this restaurant. Staff were most unhelpful and food did not match the price tag. They serve better food at McDonalds. New management needed to turn this place around before it's too late!
