We had an enjoyable dinner at the restaurant. The food could have been served a bit hotter. Here’s how we rated our dishes: brisket 10/10, pork 10/10, chicken 7/10, and chicken fingers 8/10. We were seated promptly, though the table was only about 80% clean. Our server was very knowledgeable about the menu and made some great suggestions. We sampled a wide array of dishes. The sliced brisket sandwich paired with sweet corn was excellent and offered a substantial portion for an adult. The two-meat plate was quite large and we couldn't finish it—there was plenty to eat, especially with the two sides. The beans and potato salad were both delicious. The shredded pork meal was also fantastic and generously portioned. The kids enjoyed their chicken fingers and fruit, which was a hit. And those cheese biscuits? Absolutely scrumptious. Overall, it’s a lovely establishment with great food, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommend for anyone who enjoys smoked meat.

I ordered the fried catfish along with two sides and homemade tartar sauce. For my sides, I chose mac and cheese and collard greens. The catfish was perfectly crispy and paired wonderfully with the tartar sauce. The mac and cheese was creamy and cheesy, just how I like it. However, I found the collard greens, made with smoked meat, to be just okay. If you ever find yourself in the Savannah area and love BBQ, I would definitely recommend checking this place out!

The food and the experience was amazing! Got a chicken plate with two sides and it was a great amount of food and it was of good quality as well. Look at that potato! The food was absolutely delicious! The wait times were completely reasonable, we got satwithin a minute and our food came out very quickly after we ordered it. Our server, Molly, was very kind and took good care ofus!

This was our first visit to the Pooler location of Jim 'N Nick's, though we had been to the Bluffton location several times before. For this meal, we ordered chicken tenders, Karl's catfish, and a Southern burger. I know—it might seem odd to go to a barbecue place and skip the barbecue, but that’s what we were in the mood for this time. After all, a restaurant should stand by everything on its menu, right? Each of the dishes we tried was quite tasty. My wife enjoyed her Southern burger, my Karl's catfish had a delightful cornmeal coating, and my granddaughter's chicken tenders had a coating that tasted nearly homemade (she even let me have a taste). When it came to the sides, they were a bit of a mixed bag. The fries were good, though nothing extraordinary. The collard greens had a nice flavor with a bit of spice. Unfortunately, the corn on the cob was a letdown. My wife commented that it wasn't sweet enough, was mushy, and even had a bad spot. She said she wouldn’t serve corn like that at home. However, the overall quality of our meals was still satisfactory, and to be fair, we probably should have sent the corn back for a replacement. Nevertheless, one bad ear of corn didn’t overshadow our enjoyable meals. Our service was also commendable, with a fresh glass of iced tea brought out promptly when mine ran low. The iced tea was refreshing and crisp. Lastly, the restrooms were clean and well-maintained. All in all, we were quite pleased with our dinner stop before heading to the airport.

Excellent excellent from start to finish do not judge this book by its cover we were sat in a reasonable amount of time our server Michael was on top of everything our drinks were always tended to and service was top notch the food wasdelicious and reasonably priced. The manager Ken even stopped by each table what a pleasant gent. We are newer to the area andhad not really considered this restaurant from the outer decor and previous reviews i loved this restaurant and cant wait togo back. Oh yes those cheddar biscuits are the bomb.
