I noticed some small flakes that I assume were spices, but it was by far the most bland fried chicken I've had in years. I shared a few pieces with my friends, and they agreed that it wasn't just me. Perhaps it’s usually better and someone just made a mistake, but it honestly tasted like the chicken was fried with nothing but flour.
The service was excellent and the food was delightful. There was an impressive variety of dishes, beverages, and desserts to choose from. My personal favorite was the black rum cake; it was absolutely heavenly!
During our visit to Savannah, GA, my daughter and I were in the mood for some Jamaican cuisine and stumbled upon this little hole-in-the-wall restaurant. We decided to try the neck chicken, oxtail, and curry goat. While our food was being bagged, the women at the restaurant kindly offered us samples of the oxtail and curry goat. Oh my, they were so delicious that we ended up ordering an extra serving of oxtail since they would be closing for the next two days. I highly recommend this place!
I bought a big oxtail dinner from there and I'm very dissatisfied. I basically have a plate filled with rice and gravy, a tablespoon of cabbage and 4 small oxen for 25.29!! I will never do business there again and definitely leave everyone I know to make sure they see the food before they pay for it
Amazing food here and fried chicken is delicious but call ahead and have them fry your chicken so it's fresh hot! The jerk chili was delicious and the best I've ever had. The staff was super friendly.
