Ruby Tuesday - Pooler

I visited this establishment a few days ago and the food was alright but my real reason for the review is to talk about the environment. I could hear what sounded like the manager berating her employees. The employees appeared to be very upset and unhappy with their jobs. Unhappy employees makes for unhappy service which in turn creates unhappy customers. What is going on there? One could cut the tension in the air with a knife. It’s just not a comfortable vibe and it made the visit awkward. I even saw what appears to be a pregnant woman working under duress, I can’t even imagine the strain on her health in such a toxic environment. Do better Ruby Tuesday. Take care of your employees. You would not be a viable restaurant without them. Treat them the way you would want your customers treated. Do not allow your mistreatment of your employees to go viral. It would destroy you in such a small town.

My daughter wanted to try it out for her birthday dinner, so we took her there. Price for the food was very reasonable, portions are small though. Loved the bourbon style wings. Deconstructed kebab was good, a little salt but good. My daughter couldn't eat fries as they were extremely salty. Drinks were awesome. Our server was amazing, courteous and quite friendly. She even gave my daughter a complementary dessert as it was her birthday. Overall visit was pleasant.

Great salad bar, great service, nice friendly professional staff. All good except restrooms! Please clean dirty and smelly restrooms.

Everything was delicious. The service by Chanelle was great.

When I called for my pick up, they didn't answer and when I finally got someone on the phone, they said they would bring it out when it was done. I waited another 30 minutes before going inside and my food had been sitting. The order was missing food so I had to go back in and request it while waiting even longer. The steaks were very thin and dry.
