Mexican Grill - Poolesville

Lackluster in my opinion. It's definitely not the cleanest looking place. Still we try the queso and it's broken and not flavorful, chips lacked salt and the salsa was ok. Queso was pricey at $11. I got the taquitos and they were basically one taquitos cut in thirds and covered in toppings. It was not great but what ruined it was getting something inedible inside of one of my chicken taquitos, turns out it was more than likely shrimp shell! Thank goodness I don't have a shellfish allergy. Eww I just don't know where it came from!! This place was pretty pricey and it's a one and done for me based on the taquito debacle. Service was not good either.

This was absolutely a great little place to stop in in poolesville we will definitely be back the food is so authentic! It was so fresh the margarita was made perfectly and with prices today you can't get a better deal for your money with the amount of food that they bring out to you!

Very good food and service. Nicely decorated seating area. My wife had the special (salmon with pasta) $25 and I had the chile relleno $16. We also had a bowl of guacamole $11. Pretty expensive Mexican food. The back area around the bathroom was dirty and not appealing.

Such a rock solid Mexican restaurant! The food and service is excellent and the margheritas are well-balanced crowd pleasers. Their mole is also legit, a real testament to a Mexican restaurant. Their beer cocktail is also fantastic, even to this non-beer drinker.

Busy, busy the day after Labor Day 2023. Burritos are HUGE! I must say, I am a South Dakotan visiting MD for a week.I ordered the steak quesadilla. Steak was tender and seasoned well. But.....way too much cheese. I spent most of my time pulling cheese off.Just Pedro and one other working a packed restaurant.
