However, our server was exceptional and the food was outstanding! I ordered the steak with peppersauce, cooked to perfection for 21.5 euros, while my girlfriend opted for the salmon with veggies priced at 20 euros. The menu had English translations, and we were pleasantly surprised to receive a small appetizer of fish spread and olives before our meal, as well as a side of french fries with our main courses. This place definitely comes highly recommended! I have a shellfish allergy, and was a bit worried given Belgium's reputation for mussels, but the staff made sure to inform me of the ingredients in the sauces used in the dishes. Just a heads up, payment is made at the bar and tipping is not expected in Belgium. Enjoy your meal!
We decided to stop at this restaurant during a bike ride after it was recommended by our B&B host. Luckily, there are signs, otherwise it would be difficult to find. We came for drinks and desserts, and we were not disappointed! We ordered the molten chocolate cake and chocolate ice cream, both of which were delicious. I regret not having a full meal here, as everything looked and smelled amazing. The beer selection was impressive for a small establishment in what seemed like the middle of nowhere. They even had Westvleteren! It was the perfect place to take a break and enjoy the sunshine in September. The patio was charming and the waitress was friendly.
Not only is the terrace perfect, but the service is also impeccable, making it a great choice for dinner.

We stopped at this restaurant on a bike tour after completing our ride.
