The Little Red Diner - Port Allegany

This restaurant is a popular spot among locals, which is always a good sign. The interior is spacious, however, our first two choices from the menu were not available (with no updates on their phones to inform us). My companion ordered the massive 1.25-pound burger, which was large and tasty, though not outstanding. I opted for the turkey club sandwich, which was very good. The homemade chips looked the part but lacked flavor. The service was slow, mainly due to the lengthy cooking time of the burger. Luckily, we were not in a rush, otherwise the wait for our meal would have been a problem.

We arrived at 7:30 a.m. even though they were closing at 8. The staff graciously waited for us and we had a delicious meal! We will definitely be returning.

This cozy little diner offers excellent prices and has a very welcoming staff. Diners are sure to leave satisfied.

A place you must stop to enjoy if you are up North. We traveled up North with our dance team. The Little Red Diner happily fed all 21 of us. Traveling with 19 kids is hard but eating breakfast here was easy. The staff was kind and the food was delicious. Everyone left happy and more than full. Highly recommend eating here!
