Cash's Diner - Port Allen

Let me start with the food I ate...My fried chicken salad was fabulous!! Baked potato not so much. The only downfall to my visits was the fact that I waited almost 45 minutes before someone (not my waitress) came to ask me what my order was, then another 5 minutes to actually get my food. My ACTUAL waitress was more attentive to the patron sitting in front of me and only came to my table once. Would I come again, not unless I had all the time in the world.:

Very large portions. Great food and very nice people. At a good price. I got the red beans and rice with greens and it was awesome. Got a Cajun po boy with onion rings as well to eat later. I shared with my two boys and they loved it.

Excellent customer service! Our waitress was awesome and friendly! The food was great and the prices were great as well! Over all super happy we stopped here!

Tried Cashs diner for the first time ever and was not disappointed! I ordered the grilled fish and shrimp and my husband got the fried fish and shrimp. We both had side salads and they were fresh and crisp. They also brought me a service of greens which were very flavorful. The food was delicious and the waitress, Rhonda, was very nice. By the time we finished our food, we were going to order a piece of cake but it got busy and we were too short on time to wait. Rhonda was the only waitress working at the time. Would definitely recommend!

Food and service was outstanding! I haven?t had food that good since I was kid at grandmas! (She was raised on a farm) very southern style friendly and laid back if I lived here I?d be a regular! Just don?t drink the water it taste like salt, I?m sure it?s just how the tap water tastes in this area? I recommend the chicken fried steak
