The floor was under staff and the $110 I spent on rolls came with hard rice; Harder than white steam rice I had with my overcooked Phephe special.(the rolls in which I mentioned to my server in which nothing was acknowledged) The kicker, is the gratuity 17% they hadslapped on me. My table was 5 adults, 1 toddler a 2 month old baby. I don't know what happened to this place. It's anatrocity. Please contact me management, I dare you ????.
My boyfriend and I have been here multiple times and like the food. Most of the sushi rolls and drinks are very tasty. The reason that I took off one star is that the service is always sooooo slow even on days with only a few other customers. Onetime, we even had waiters argue about who was going to take our table in front of us, and another time a hostess said that shewas saving the booths for bigger parties even though we have sat at booths multiple times before with just the two of us. I haveworked in a restaurant before, and we would never have been allowed to say that, so I thought it was quite rude.?.I will saythat the last time that we went, the service had improved, so hopefully, they?re training their employees to do better.
Usually great experience. But tonight, both our warm sake bottles had black floating in bottom. Bartender said it's just something in the machine and poured the last out without offering a shot to compensate. Kinda killed the mood. Still love theplace, they just need new sake machine
I use to love sake. But they have gone downhill when it comes to customer service. We sat down at 5:20 and ordered 5 minutes into being seated. Our drinks came and 30 minutes later I had to ask another waiter for refills. We saw our waitress 3 times,nobody else checked on us. We received our food at 6:30. They said they were going to give us a discount because of the wait. Iguess that 3 dollars was enough for an hour wait for food and no answers as to why other people that got there after us weregetting their food. Definitely won?t be back for a while. I?ll continue to go to Koi in Beaumont.
I went to Sake more than 10 years ago and have an outstanding experience. I was thrown back when I walked in and there was a dirty paper towel on the entrance floor and it looked unswept. (Should have turned around right then) We were given a scancard menu that didn't work. When we asked our waitress about it, she said they had been having issues with the scan card menuand then proceeded to bring us menus. We wanted to order drinks and asked for a drink menu, our waitress told us we do not havedrink menus! We asked what type of drinks they had. She gave us 3 suggestions. We asked for a top shelf margarita on therocks and after saying they could make anything we were told they could not make that but they had an open bar. After so manylet downs, we decided to leave. Disappointed
