Vince's Dial-A-Pizza - Port Augusta

Worst pizza we have ever had. Ordered a family size with the lot. Only had 5 slices of pepperoni and even less anchovies. Rang to complain about this and I was asked by the manager if was wanting pepperoni to replace I said yes I would be happier with this, she then said I don't think so and hung up on me. I am not exaggerating to say that it was the worst pizza we have ever had.

Called and told 1hr till delivery. Called back hr and a half later, told another hr. Called back hr later and told him 1/2 later. Pizza eventually gets here and is definitely not worth the wait. Better of buying pre-cooked coles pizza

Ordered delivery. Friendly service on the phone, delivered very quickly and only $38 for 2 large pizzas delivered. Unfortunately the pizzas were very average.

I have now had the spaghetti bolognaise on several occasions , once a year when in Port Augusta for the Pichi Richi Marathon , and have found it to be OK . Nothing fantastic but it served its purpose ... bit of pre-marathon carbohydrate . My sister travelled with us last year and she supplied the spag-bog ; now that was something to die for !! Can't comment on any other food from Vince's but the service has always been great .

We were greeted and served by an extremely friendly gent who left me with a great first impression. Unfortunately the food did the place no favours. Although burnt on top, the garlic bread was probably the best part of the meal. The pizza was also reasonable but my "eat anything" 3 year old refused to eat more than a mouthful of lasagne which did look like slop with way too much sauce. The red wine tasted like a combination of petrol and bad cordial. Needless to say the glass was left unconsumed.The consensus was that perhaps we should have had a subway instead. My suggestion would be to stick with pizza, have the garlic bread if you dont mind it crispy and avoid the pasta and wine like the plague.
