Barefoot Bar & Brasserie - Port Blair

We had gone to tis place for lunch.. the food was good and the service was also good.. we enjoyed our meals..

Although the bartenders were extremely nice and courteous. The horrible man wearing light blue shirt who has brown/ blue eyes chased us from the sitting area where we were smoking right outside the bar, saying as Sir kapil dev will be visiting restaurant and made...us sit near the lawn supposedly designated smoking area. This was understandable until he got the ash tray and made another person sit within 2-3 minutes (fact) who probably drank cheaper drinks. The worst fact is that thr was a lot of place and other ppl ended up crowding the same place where he did not want us to be seen to the celebrity at the restaurant. I was so furious as he did not even bother to apologize that he made us sit in the lawn while it was drizzling while he is dancing to find an ash tray to another lady. This place right outside the restaurant has 3 tables with 2 chairs each so my presence shldn have bothered as thr were not many customers at that time.

Nice Restaurant ,has vast menu , served food even though we reached at 4pm. No negative feed back for the food we have tasted.

You'll most likely visit this place while returning from elephanta beach after a full session of speed boat, water sports. A little slow with the service and a little over priced fro the ampunt of food on the plate B3 is only average.

After feasting your eyes to some really breathtaking beaches and corals, the Barefoot Bayside treats your stomach to some tastefully done cuisine. Though being a vegatarian i cannot comment on the sea food and non-veg dishes, i can extrapolate the quality of veg dishes to...the non-veg also. The food here is nicely prepared with just the right amount of masala and would do your tummy no harm. A great place for a family to have lunch/ dinner while in Havelock (Swaraj Dweep).
