I noticed that people were enjoying their drinks, particularly chai. This place seemed to have more light than the others. We selected our fish and the chef prepared everything fresh. The food was excellent, and the chai was delicious as well. The staff may have limited English skills, but they were friendly and eager to assist. I found the dining experience to be hygienic, although I wish the table had been a bit cleaner and there were flies outside, but that seems to be a common issue for all restaurants on the strip.
The restaurant serves meals by the roadside. The prices for the fish are much higher than market price. Be prepared to haggle before you dine.
The food at this restaurant is delicious. It has a home-cooked feel as it is prepared in a small kitchen. However, the fish and shrimp we had with the thali were a bit overcooked.
There are several restaurant/shack on this strip on the beach. We didn't know which one to entered, but we figured we'd try this one - last one on the strip - closest to the beach. I noticed people were lined up to drink chai and the place had more light than the other ones. We got to pick out our fish and the lady made all this fresh food from scratch. It as great and the chia was also excellent.English is very limited, but people are friendly and want to be helpful. While I felt that the food and handling was hygienic, I just wish the table was a little bit cleaner (whipped down) and since it is outdoors, there were many flies, but you will find this with all of the restaurants on the strip.
They serve roadside meal. The fish prices were way too high compared to market price. You need to bargain before you eat.
