Cody's Original Roadhouse- Port Charlotte

Update: I sung here at last, and it regretted that I was not impressed. I ordered a ribeye and as you can see from the picture, I'm sure it was NOT a ribeye, it's the Sirloin. There is no marble and see how thin the cut is. It reminded me and tasted like) one of those steaks you buy from the guy who runs around with vacuum sealed frozen steaks. But the server... it was fabulous! And the atmosphere of the restaurant itself was funny. By the way, on my way, a gentleman was delivered on the next table his ribeye and it didn't look as I served! I didn't eat here, I left my parents. They said the food was very good, had a little remnant) Iiced the view of the place as it had a very beautiful personality. My people just loved swirl waitress, that says a lot because they don't usually talk about that.

My husband and I ate here for the first time yesterday, even though we live directly on the street. Boy, we're gone! First our waitress was phenomenal! Her name was Crystal and she did a great job, so attentive and always to see if we needed something. We had the salad we should die for! Absolutely delicious and we had a second bowl. I ordered the chicken pot pee I thought was probably the best I ever had. My husband ordered the chicken that he thought it was really good. The prices were very reasonable, we will be back, OFTEN!

It started with the hostesses over which one of them would have to take us. No line or anything, only they're fighting before us. Then we sat. We sat a while before someone picked up our order. Again, not busy, it was a Monday. When our waitress picked up our order, she asked if we wanted to eat the children to come with our appetizer, we said yes. That was really nice. She forgot what was no problem if she hadn't offered. In addition, she did not mention that they were from the sauce for the onions until we had them. We wouldn't have ordered them if we knew, and they were burned and hard. I was here at least 3 or 4 times and never had a bad time. I suppose it was just the staff that was there at the time. I type a minimum of 20%, but my waitress received a modest 13% on a $75 bill. It's still better than what anyone else would have done.

Well... that was secret meat 100% service was ok. The waitress really didn't care... never went the extra mile. If you look at the picture, the food left a lot to wish. I mean, how can someone leave the food to make the kitchen look like that?

Fantastic lunch with no wait time! The service was excellent, and the food was delicious with generous portions. If you're really hungry and longing for a classic steakhouse experience, this is the perfect spot for you. The prices are reasonable—expect to spend around $15 per person for drinks and appetizers. Don't miss out on the giant chocolate cake—it's absolutely delicious!
