Zoe’s Sweet Kitchen - Port Charlotte

I dropped by for a light brunch with my wonderful wife and mom. We all ordered sandwiches: I had the tuna on a croissant, my wife enjoyed the grilled cheese with a twist, and my mom had the classic BLT. Everything was delicious, freshly prepared, and served promptly. We also tried the fried onion rings, which were a great addition. The restaurant is immaculate, and the servers are fantastic. Prices are reasonable, and the atmosphere is laid-back. We definitely plan to return to sample their breakfast menu. As for vegetarian options, there are several available.

I took my mom out for lunch to try Zoe's for the first time, and we both ordered the meaty quiche. It was honestly the best we've ever had—loaded with sausage, ham, and bacon. We couldn't resist sampling some desserts from their impressive selection, so we tried the strawberry rhubarb pie and a cherry and almond scone. Everything tasted incredibly fresh, and the portion sizes were generous. I highly recommend this place!

We encountered several issues during our visit. The restaurant only has one high chair, and there's no designated area for changing diapers. After informing what I assumed was the host about needing a high chair, we waited for a table. However, once we were seated, we were told that they had run out of high chairs. Unfortunately, we had to leave as a result. The place looked promising, but it’s not suitable for families with young children.

The food was delicious and homemade. They even had gluten free options in the bakery section! The servers were kind and patient. I highly recommend visiting this quaint restaurant if you are in the area! The mimosa’s are delicious!Food: 5/5

We saw this place online and it had good reviews, so we figured why not try it. We walk in, normal chaos on a Sunday morning for breakfast, but not overly crazy. We got a new server, who was so attentive elsewhere that we couldn’t even ask questions or talk to her. She seemed more focused on the lady who had sat down behind us (after we sat). She didn’t even let me finish talking before she ran to the lady behind us and took her drink order. That lady also got her drink order before she even came back to see what I wanted to drink. She then proceeding behind the counter, looking lost and then proceeded to help another lady asking for pastries. Long story short, the place seemed very unorganized and chaotic. It was the beginning to what would have been a horrible experience. So we got up and left. It’s a shame, the menu seemed to have some promising items on it. Maybe another time after they’re open for a bit longer and have their staff more trained we will try it again. Hope the best for them.
