The restaurant is decent but not great. I ordered the combo of Chile Relleno and Chicken Enchilada. The Spicy Jalapeño Margarita was just okay, nothing too special. The service was poor. Overall, it's still a good place to dine at.
Many older reviews of El Tio mention that they do not provide itemized bills and automatically include a gratuity fee. These practices have raised some concerns among customers.
Great service, food was great, small portions compared to my previous review of. similar dish in the other Mexican restaurant.
This restaurant has been here for years! Hidden jewel you have to try. Yes Mexican cuisine is everywhere, but not everyone does it right... if you're not out of the area, plan to eat here before the show at the Capitol Theater
