I find that the restaurant is really classy, and also welcoming as it is a family owned business. The same chef and server are there every single time I have been which is probably over 20 times. They are so friendly and hard-working. The portions are big and good quality, and the presentation is wonderful as well. On a sidenote, one of my all-time favorite rolls that is unique to this restaurant is the AAC Roll, which is avocado, pickled asparagus and cream cheese. Yummmmm. Some items are a little bit more expensive than I think they should be (for example the agedashi tofu is $6.99), but if you order with intention and get good value combinations or dinner boxes then it can be a reasonable and good value price. I highly recommend Sushi Village!!
This restaurant is really good. The food is fresh and reasonably priced, with a wide variety to choose from. The service is friendly and the atmosphere is nice. Overall, I can't really find anything to complain about. Maybe the only thing that could be better is improving the language barrier with the service. My kids also really enjoy eating here.
I placed my order through the DoorDash menu and was surprised when the total came out to be $19 instead of $14. The sushi was just okay, with large and clumsy rolls. The takeout service was slow and unfriendly. However, the sushi itself was fresh and had a good taste, which is why I am giving it 3 stars.
I loved this place but stopped going when I caught them lying to me I told them how much I spend per week and asked them if they wore gloves. They said yes and when I went in they were. Second time I saw them not wear gloves and gave them the benefit of doubt that maybe he just forgot on the other persons order. 3rd time I decided to walk-in and place my order and saw him not wear gloves again and told them sorry but we are in a pandemic and will not be ordering from them again... not many businesses can afford to lose out on the $400/month. Side note I am enjoying on learning online how to make my own rolls I will not take the chance of bringing COVID into my household
I frequently visit this restaurant for a quick lunch. The quality of service can be inconsistent depending on the staff working that day. I particularly enjoy their Korean-style chirashi don and the delicious salad dressing they use. The fish dishes I have ordered have always been fresh, and the prices are reasonable.
