Hotel Elliot - PORT ELLIOT

I'm not as familiar with Port Eliot as I am with Victor Harbor, but that is probably because Port Elliot is Victor's little sister.

A real local favorite, sitting nicely in that comfortable space between pub-grub and fine dining.

Good dining experience with friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

As my folks live in Port Elliot the Hotel Eliliot is our goto place whenever I am in town. Never been disappointed with the food or the service and as my folks dine here at least 3-4 times a month you can see it is somewhere that people will come back to time and time again.It can get very busy over the summer so always book ahead.My goto meal is a SCHNITZEL (usually Beef) and I always enjoy it.

On night two of our three night stay at Goolwa, after a miserably wet day where we spent most of it indoors keeping warm, we decided to venture out to get some fresh air and a bite to eat in Pt Elliot. After perusing the menus at both local pubs, we decided to head to the Hotel Elliot as the menu and specials seemed a bit more extensive. What a good choice we made. We sat in the front bar (on the pool cum dinner table), in front of the roaring fire and had meals off the main restaurant menu. My son had the salt and pepper squid and I had the red chicken curry special. Both meals were huge and really well cooked and were really value for money. An enjoyable meal at the Hotel Elliot. We will return.
