Ajax Cafe - Port Hadlock

We went here as a recommendation from someone who grew up in the area and is NOT disappointed. The Clam-Chowder was the absolute best I ever had, it's different than any other Chowder out there. Seriously, it's a must. They also literally serve you with a golden spoon. It was a really nice experience, and our waitress was also so friendly!

I had a wonderful vegan plate and my friend had ribs. The food, ambience and service is notch! I'm definitely back. This could be my new favorite place.

Reservations for 19:00. At 7:30 it finally managed to get some slices of bread. Three of four drinks have finally arrived. Several parties sitting after us already got their food. The waitress is unapologetic and tells us how busy they are. I lost my apetite and decided not to eat anything. One of the meals was barely edible. I'm not coming back here.

Sitting with friends had a good time. Food and cocktails are good too good, service is friendly and professional, vibe is gentle. The hats on the wall are for customers who want to borrow a hat while they eat, drink and be happy. Great quirky touch!

I need more stars than just 5! This was my first time going to AJax to celebrate 2 birthdays. The food was absolutely amazing! We ordered the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer, YUM! I rarely order a steak out at dinner because my husband makes the best steaks and I?m usually disappointed. I had the best steak at AJax (3 of us ordered steak). My husband had the ribs, he said that they were perfect with no fat on them. The others ordered the salmon dinner and the pork tenderloin, which they said were both very good. Our server, I think her name was Coleen, very friendly and attentive. We had a great night. I can?t wait to celebrate my birthday dinner there in a few weeks! Oh, I almost forgot? that key lime pie. YOU HAVE TO ORDER IT! If you?re too full, get it to go!
