This beautifully maintained older building offers spacious rooms that are a delightful surprise, complete with a convenient mini refrigerator. The highlight of my stay, however, was the breathtaking ocean views right from my room. It's like having a front-row seat to nature's beauty. The staff were not only professional but also incredibly friendly, making my stay even more enjoyable. Their warm hospitality truly sets this inn apart. Moreover, North Shore Inn provides ample parking space, which was a great convenience, especially for those traveling with a vehicle.Situated right in front of Carrot Park and surrounded by coffee shops and restaurants on Market Street, the location is perfect. I've also heard that a new restaurant will be opening inside of the building, which makes it an even more exciting place to stay. For a clean, comfortable, and welcoming experience with stunning ocean views, convenient parking, and a prime location near upcoming dining options, North Shore Inn is the place to be. I can't recommend it enough and can't wait to return for another unforgettable stay!
The only nice thing about this hotel was the staff. the rest of the hotel is rundown and an eyesore on the waterfront. it seems more likely that the owners are just waiting to sell the property and not interested in maintaining it in any way.
Clean and comfortable rooms. A little dated but just fine nonetheless. The 17 stairs up to the room was hard for my mom. And me.Rooms: 4/5
Sorry but this place should be closed down until the renovations are complete. The lobby smells of mold, the kitchen/restaurant is closed... The room is the worst room I've slept in (mold, stale old carpet) in North America. Yet it gets booked up with tour buses and hapless tourists.Rooms: 1/5
Would not go back again. The hotel was very run down and not well maintained. Has no elevator and watch out for the stairs as the carpet on them is so badly worn on the edges that it is a tripping hazzard for those with mobility issues. My room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke and there was hair in the bedding. I would have said something to staff but the one person on left as soon as the ferry group was dealt with. I slept what I could, and left super early the next morning.
