Restaurant le XV - Port-la-Nouvelle

We were set a little back when we first entered this restaurant; it is not one for white cloths and napery that is more our style. No matter the limited menu gave a reasonable choice, in which we did not have less than three occasions... on a night holiday. The place is operated by three rugby players, and the decor reflects that as the programs shown on the large screen. We went on two consecutive Saturdays, when the last stages of the Top 14 Rugby completion was shown. I thought it was a bit more personal for my wife, but no! The final, played in Barcelona because le footie took all French stages was up! Although the place is well protected until the finale was over there, only we and Le Patron left were watching. Despite everything, do not miss this restaurant, you will be well rewarded. One thing to watch, but the staff has very limited English, so you can find that your French get a training!

Had a good meal here on Wednesday evening in June with a friend. Delicious mussels begin and a huge duck breast, nicely boiled, for main. Service was friendly and without delay. Would recommend a visit!

Impressed. Not normal for me, but... The 19,90 Euro menu was excellent. Moules gratin x2 wonderful. Joue de porc fabulous aromas, beautiful sauce, delicate pork cheek. Filets de Dourade fabulous aromas, the black olive grove was excellent and the rice quinellas... were so beautiful creamy. We cheated on Dessert by Cafe Gourmand x2 (complementation applies. Fine. Really nice end to a great meal. Service was friendly, friendly, but not looking. Wine at Picher was a beautiful red, and this is not unusual for here, but what was unusual was that it was not served cold. Fine. None. Just great. Beaucoup felicits a 15. Well done.

En vacances à port la nouvelle, nous avions envie de se faire plaisir et c est choses faites avec ce restaurant !Les saveurs des plats étaient au rendez-vous.Plats cuisinés sur place avec des produits de qualités et une excellente présentation.Je vous recommande ce lieux où vous serez servis avec des personnes plus que serviable.Merci pour ce moment, continuer comme ça et enfin dommage que votre restaurant n'est pas sur mon lieux d'habitation.
