Laflor By Opium - Port Louis

We came here for lunch and had a bit of trouble finding parking. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and had a lovely ambiance. It wasn't too crowded, which was nice. The staff was very accommodating. I enjoyed the delicious hearts of palm with tuna. I would definitely recommend this place for a tasty lunch or dinner.

I was invited to a group dinner and had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The service was warm and friendly; the staff took the time to explain the favorites on the menu. I ordered the medium-rare entrecôte and was thrilled with the flavor. The steak was fantastic, and the extra herbed butter on top truly enhanced the taste. I only learned from the attentive manager after our meal that they use Angus beef for their steaks, which explains the high quality of the meat. I'm not a fan of the sweet "devil sauce" that came on the side, but the complimentary salad was a refreshing addition. For dessert, the banana cake was delightful, not overly sweet, and featured a perfectly crispy pastry. The only improvement I would suggest is adding a larger sign outside, as I found it a bit confusing to locate the restaurant.

We bought the paté last week and was awesome. Bought today on promo (3 for Rs100) , it was horrible!!!! Please don't give discounts for stale products. We'd rather eat good food than stale promo ones. Such bad impression!
