Cafe 66 - Port Macquarie

My wife and I visited Cafe 66 with another couple and everyone agreed that the food was great. We happened by chance to choose Tuesday night for our visit and were rewarded with an almost 2 for 1 offer which we think is a regular Tuesday offer. Put simply, if you order one pasta you can have a second for $5. What this meant was that for our party of 4, the total cost for the night was only $130. That covered a couple of shared entrees, the 4 pastas and desserts all round.While the food was really good (my arrabiata was excellent), the service was equally up to the task and the ambiance just right for our liking. We would be more than happy to go again.

We spent 5 days in Port Macquarie & after trying a few cafes we found Cafe 66 the best. The food & service were excellent & great coffee. All staff are friendly & pleasant but what makes Cafe 66 different is Neil who is attentive & sociable with a charming, sparkling manner.

Great place for big eaters. Good value of old style Italian dishes. Great service right in the middle of town. Easy access

Amazing steak with garlic prawns, not on menu but we're happy to make it, entrees were excellent !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We didn't have a booking and were seated immediately. It was difficult deciding what to order but I had the tortellini dish and my husband had the ravioli. The meal was the best Italian we've had in a long time and there was plenty of it. The service was great and the staff efficient and friendly. Do try it as I don't think you will be disappointed.
