I recently visited McDonald's and had a disappointing experience. The young lady at the counter had trouble with two customer orders before mine, causing me to wait longer than necessary. When I received my order, I found it to be very expensive. Upon checking the receipt, I discovered that she had charged me for items I didn't order, such as drinks and coffee. The manager corrected the mistake, but it seemed like others were also experiencing issues with their orders. A family group had items missing from their order, but a helpful lady named Cheryl stepped in to fix the errors. It was clear that the girl who served us was inexperienced and needed more training. The lack of internet at the location also made it difficult to place orders. Overall, my experience at this McDonald's was subpar and I would not recommend it.
I thought I experienced the worst service at a McDonald's one night when it took me 20 minutes in the drive-thru. However, last night was even worse. I arrived at 12:50 and didn't receive my food until 1:35 - a total of 45 minutes waiting. My order was also incorrect multiple times, leading to cold burgers and nuggets. I understand that it was late at night and there were only one manager and one worker, so I feel sorry for them. However, waiting for 45 minutes in a drive-thru line was frustrating.
Barista short hair girl was so rude. they made a mistake, lacked a coffee job, and she has the boldness to get crazy. coffee was disgustingly paid for 10 different coffee flavor and we all have the same taste. Even the other girl who served with the pony tail gave us the look when we complained.
Re the Bay Street port Macquarie McDonalds. Have visited this store on a regular basis. Will not be going back. In the last 3 or 4 visits we have found the service to be very slow, the coffee barely hot and even when ‘extra hot’...specified it’s still pot luck. Today our toasted sandwiches were forgotten and then when we did finally get them they were barely toasted and one sandwich was coated in pieces of black cooked on food from the sandwich toaster. To top all of this off, the recent renovations mean the McCafe is completely hidden from view. You can no longer see cakes, muffins etc on display to choose from and we now find the dining room quite unattractive and unwelcoming.
