My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant on a Tuesday night and took advantage of the great deal: buy one, get another for $2. It was our first time eating here and we were not disappointed. The fish and chips were delicious, and we also ordered some calamari which was all lightly battered and tasty. Though we had to wait a bit, it was definitely worth it.
During my visit to Port Macquarie, I had the pleasure of dining at Mike's Seafood for some fish and chips. My family enjoyed a delicious lunch sitting by the Hastings River with a beautiful view. The $16 fish and chips were worth every penny, with a generous portion size. The staff were friendly, although it took a while for our food to arrive because my wife was chatting with the owner nonstop. The battered Hoki chips were crispy with a good amount of fish inside, and the chips were tasty. Overall, a great meal with a multimillion-dollar view.
Wanted a lazy night in and wanted fresh prawn cutlets. Only place that I could see that seemed to have fresh made prawn cutlets. All seafood I ordered was battered or crumbed fresh so more than happy with result. A little disappointed that I didn't try the grilled options. They looked good going out to customers.
On a cold night really felt like Fish chips.Very reasonable price with a substantial serve. Not greasy and really tasty. First time I've been here in many years of coming to Port Macquarie, would recommend.
