Port City Bowling Club - Port Macquarie

The meals in Drift cafe restaurant in Port City Bowling club came out with minimal waiting time, all staff were super friendly even though it was very busy. We had the rib eye steak cooked medium rare, mash and veg with a mushroom gravy on the side. The steaks were an excellent cut of meat very good quality, the chef cooked it perfect so tender and flavoursome.

We really wanted to like this restaurant. It’s located a two minute walk from our apartment in Port Macquarie. All the staff were helpful, friendly and plentiful . The meal was very disappointing . I ordered the chicken ceaser salad . I was told the chicken is cooked on the char grill . It was all freezing cold , straight out of fridge . Cold chicken that tasted like boiled chicken, freezing cold poached egg and bacon . I left most of it . My husband had flat head tails . It was the standard frozen fare and tasteless. The bar prices are reasonable and as I mentioned all the staff lovely . I’d go again for a drink but not a meal . A

My partner and I dined here on Wednesday night the food was very good and a reasonable price. It was busy but we didn't wait long.

Friendly welcome, good service and a lot of choice. We were made to feel welcome as guests. The food was good, just check if signing up as a member would actually save you money because for $12 we would have saved more than this on the members prices of the meals.

An absolutely full restaurant highlights the popularity of this bistro. The service was extremely efficient, and the food was delicious and plentiful. Recommended.
