Every time I visit Port Macquarie, I make sure to stop by this restaurant for lunch. It's a must-visit spot!
We discovered this cafe through YELP while traveling in Port Macquarie and decided to stop for lunch.
The Village Cafe had very good service and the food was of good, though not exceptional, standard. I think the desserts are bought in from elsewhere and they were fairly basic. Overall, a nice place to go but not a standout.
Four of us had dinner here whole staying at Lighthouse Beach Caravan Park. A lovely, relaxed cafe with great food and friendly service. The steaks were tender, according to the husbands, and the creamy garlic prawns (daily special) were delicious. There was also a nice selection of desserts, with the apple pie and citrus tart being stand-outs.
