I understand that they are gluten-free, which gives them a loyal order, but what a sweat of a local, expensive price for sub-average food and terrible portions. I'm here!
The food was really good, but the service had no love to detail. the net came out before we finished our starter. I ordered the vegan burger who should come with cashew cheese, but that was missing. we enjoyed our net so much we ordered dessert I got the vegan chocolate cake with minze and macadamia crumb, unfortunately it came with milk cream on it and I had to ask for a replacement. the waitress was very friendly, but the small mistakes bought the partitur.
We entered a table from 2 to a half empty caffe on Sunday at 12:30 o'clock. we were asked rudely if we had a booking and told us that all the tables were reserved. then we had to ask if we could just have a coffee, and that's what we're waiting for. we sat down for 5 minutes without one of the seven people taking our order, so we left. absolute sweat of a device. rude service and not flexible. the menu reads dated and boring. don't waste your time!
The fleurieu pantry. a delightful lunch when we found ourselves in the south. the energetic tea was delicious, but we found out that the cale and feta bakery with salat lacked a little taste - the baked was very dry and the salat had very little dressing. hubby had a Vindaloo-Curry and although spicy it was a little watery and the pappadams were quite wounded. overall a good experience I would repeat, but can choose something else (the nachos looked great!
Fresh and fantastic. Just gorgeous food and atmosphere. The meals were generous but didn't sit heavy in the stomach after. Has inspired my husband and I to include more gluten free alternatives in our diet. Love the fact they try to source the food local too. The only negative to our experience was after the air conditioner was switched on the cold air was directed at our table and was so cold we requested to move and so did the next lot of patrons who were seated at the very same table. Hint: redirect the air duct! If you haven't been before, give it a try, great for romance or with a group. Such a relaxed atmosphere. Will be back for High Tea!
