I had fried sharks, fried pork and. I don't know if I remember those desserts because we were picking around at the time. would definitely return.
Charming ambience and great creole food plus amazing customer service...what's not to love!
Great creole food. Sweet hand cooks in the local parlance. Folksy experience. Bucolic experience in the middle of town. Owner- operator is lovely and goes out of her way to accommodate you. Sit and watch or order to go. Generous portions!
Covid-19 downturn had taken it's toll. Now thingsare normalising a bit meals wise. The limingappearsto still be muted. The sweethand food is still available. Great prices and Roses always makes you feel welcome !
Sorry I didn't take pics but the food was unusually horrible. I ordered the daily special which was advertised as Macaroni pie, lentils, baked chicken, potato fritters and fresh salad. What was wrong? For starters the macaroni pie lacked cheese and it's seemed as though they tried to masked this by putting an excessive amount of mustard. The chicken was not washed or seasoned (I was moments away from throwing up). As it pertains to the potato I am still looking for it. In conclusion, I will be giving this place a wide berth.
