Boondocks - Port Orange

Dining by the water is always a delightful experience, and the view here is absolutely stunning. Dusty stands out as an excellent server, and what truly sets this place apart is the incredible teamwork. Trisha leads a fantastic staff who are all eager to assist, regardless of who your server is. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and outdoor seating is offered. The food is quite good as well. Thank you for taking the time to read my review, and have a wonderful day!

On our way back home to Atlanta, we decided to stop for a casual dinner. The setting is fantastic, right by the river with boats all around, although parking can be a bit tricky to find. We ordered the Conch Fritters, Conch Chowder, Clams, and the Boondocks Fish Sandwich. The Conch Fritters were delightfully crispy with small pieces of conch meat, and the clams, though small, were fresh and flavorful. We were seated at an outdoor picnic table, which was perfect for enjoying the views while we ate. The sunset at the restaurant added an extra touch of magic to our experience.

The atmosphere is cozy, with tables somewhat close together, yet there’s an inviting open-air feel with a refreshing breeze coming from the water. One minor issue was that they seemed to have run out of real silverware due to how busy they were before we arrived, so my husband had to eat his fresh salad with a plastic fork and knife. However, this was a small inconvenience and did not significantly impact our overall wonderful experience.

Been here a couple times on vacation. The staff are nice and attentive. The restaurant is fun and the cat fish are always amusing. Drinks are yummy. The food is delicious every time. Ice ordered a variety of things and have enjoyed all of them. Recently we tried the stuffed mushroom and it was one of the best things I've ever had. The cheesy garlic sauce was amazingly delicious and I wanted to just get a side of it to go home!
