Two Whales Coffee Shop - PORT REXTON

This charming little café is the perfect place to enjoy a coffee and a sweet snack. They offer an extensive menu, with options for dining inside or outside on a lovely day. And the view is simply breathtaking! You're just minutes away from the Port Rexton Brewery and the Skerwink hiking trail.

What a lovely little café! The treats are absolutely delicious, especially the partridge berry brownie. It boasts the best coffee I've had since leaving Australia! The young lady serving as the barista is quite charming and truly dedicated to ensuring that customers are happy and satisfied. After a week of visits, I can highly recommend this place. The chairs are a bit hard, but they do provide cushions, so it's all good! I’m giving it a 5-star rating for the style of the café. We really enjoyed this quaint stop during our drive. We saw them harvesting their own vegetables, and the food and coffee were exceptionally delicious.

So much to love about this spot. Convenient on the highway, lots of parking, sweet decor, friendly service and AMAZING vegan, vegetarian and gluten free food. Be sure to ask for the food menu (which is in addition to the chalkboard menu) and sit in to eat. For a small spot I was very impressed with their wide selection. And they were open daily! Their gardens made me 'green ' with envy. Oh, and ger the 50 cent discount for bringing your own mug. Great incentive to decrease waste!

We are thoroughly enjoying all the food options in Newfoundland but what a treat to find this fine coffee, vegetarian restaurant with many gluten free options including the Bollywood panini pictured here. And a socially and environmentally responsible mission statement. Garden outside. I love it!
