Pollo Tropical - Port Saint Lucie

I visited this restaurant for the first time and absolutely loved it! I ordered the quarter chicken plate with yellow rice and black beans, and it was delicious! Everything had fantastic flavor, and the value for money was excellent. The staff was also very friendly.

The Saint Lucie West location is next on my list, and we always order through DoorDash. While the food has consistently been good, the staff needs more training. My orders are often incomplete, missing items that I requested. Additionally, no one ever answers the phone when I try to reach out. Overall, great food but disappointing service when it comes to delivery orders.

The food was good, but there was a staff member who couldn't speak or understand English. From her attire, she appeared to be the manager. When we finally got the order right, she took a note suggesting it was my fault that the order had been messed up. I really wish they'd have someone on staff who can communicate in English.

Is this what you call sweet plantains ? Or is this sweet garbage. I can’t believe they would even serve this to someone without it being a problem. I order usually once every two weeks and never had a problem until today. Rice and beans were practically frozen , beans under cooked , chicken tasted bland , it was a horrible experience and I’m so disappointed.

Tropichop I received during a huge dinner rush contained OLD yellow rice!! Hard rice, clumped together, obviously had been refrigerated. Disgusting. Will NEVER return to this location. I’m paying for FRESH food. If I wanted leftovers I could’ve eaten at home!
