Café du Léman - Port-Valais

Decided to have a lunch special here. The food was of excellent taste. The food and beverage offering is extensive. The proprietor is very hospitable. Highly recommended :

We have been welcomed by abel, the boss, places with a very big smile and great attention to us in a very pleasant setting with very beautiful geraniums carefully cultivated ...... the speed and quality of the service without forgetting the excellent cuisine concocted by this excellent discreet cook(, but very nice when you have the chance to see it ) present in this establishment for several years we wish you good courage.

National holiday evening, we were settled without warning that the map is not available and that it is a unique menu that was not worth the price...we still try (we never know)The proposed entry had nothing extraordinary and lacked originality. The dishes were not at all at the height: - the parches (with butter?) lacked taste and the accompanying tartare sauce was completely forgotten- the entrecôte was extremely salty (even with 3 glasses of water it does not pass) with fries not even home and hot. The proposed dessert was clearly not exceptional. Value-for-price ratio clearly not to the really disappointed height of this experience

At the edge of a small river, this restaurant offers a multitude of accessible and rather good dishes. the boss is present and helps make the right choice. flat on a slightly sad decor and on a slightly soft atmosphere. Finally, we eat well, and especially a good choice is proposed, but we would not make a 30-minute trip to eat in this restaurant. But this bistro is pretty nice! the restaurant environment is very nice and there is a large parking lot.
