Chocolatea Cafe - Portage

I ordered the brown sugar boba with tapioca pearls, and it tasted like plain water. Even after stirring it, it still just tasted like watered-down nothing. I won't be returning.

I absolutely love Chocolatea. I've been enjoying their loose leaf blends for years, and their café never disappoints.

Not great for those with allergies: The atmosphere here is lovely, and the staff is friendly. However, when I mentioned that I can't have any dairy, they served me a drink that contained half-and-half. I can definitely feel the effects of that mistake right now.

I am obsessed with their boba here. I always get the strawberry boba with black tapioca pearls and it’s the best. Haven’t found another place like it and if they ever go away I will be devastated.

I went there for the very first time, grabbed an iced tea and joined a group of people for silent book club. It was a very nice location great tea very serene, on a little creek!
