Restaurante-Cervejaria Santos

Typical local Portuguese food restaurant, food was very good, we had squid with prawns skewer and a deep fried chicken cut in very small pieces with side dishes, mango mousse and drinks, loved it all! It was a Sunday, most restaurants are closed in Portalegre, I’d recommend booking a table in advance.

We arrived there after a horrible experience at Sal d Alho rest, and they were packed and no table available for us. wait time it was around 1 hours but they accommodate us on the small bar we had some beer and appetizer when the waitress told us to order the food that way when we get table it wont we that long wait! well, i have to say that it was worth the wait!! food was spectacular and can be beat any other one with price and amount of food. Definitely a place to try if you are in Portalege.

Good place to refresh during your visit to the town center. We took good coffee, here. Recommended.
