Blue Surf Arboretum West - Porters Neck

Ambiance is a 10. Food is a 1. We ordered two shrimp dishes and they tasted like the ocean. We 're not the type to complain or send food back but we absolutely had to. We ordered burgers and asked for them cooked medium and instead got well done burgers brought out. When the manager came back, he said he found it hard to believe our shrimp was bad. And then said he came to apologize. It was awkward. Probably won 't be coming back. Great location and space but food is not good and neither was the service. I was really hoping this would be a good spot!

We normally wouldn’t try a place with less than 4.4 stars but I’m so glad we came here for a Sunday brunch. Our food and service were GREAT, and the atmosphere is such a vibe it truly can’t be beat, especially for the price. This place deserves way more than 4.1 stars in my opinion. Will def be back soon!

I had a coconut rice bowl with salmon, and it was fantastic. We sat outside with the heater on it was nice. Everyone enjoyed their meal, even the picky 6 yr old. Drinks were amazing. The service was very friendly. Would love to come back and sit on the comfy couch with a fire

After driving by and seeing the outdoor fireplace several times finally went here on Friday night. Food was quite good not overly great) and moderate priced. Atmosphere was great, fireplace, outdoor lighting friendly staff. Would recommend if you have never been. Cant say enough about the fireplace, on a cool 58* evening with the patio heaters its top notch.

Overall, it was a strange experience. Stood at the host stand with 2 other parties for about 8 minutes before a host appeared. Our server was really nice and friendly. The tiny water glasses were very strange. The food was really good. I got the Cuban sandwich, and it was really tasty. The flavors were great. I am still hungry after leaving, though. For a 15 dollar sandwich, I don't feel like I should be leaving hungry.
