Breadsmith - Porters Neck

Breadsmith has friendly staff, very clean, delicious breads. Definitely a worthwhile stop.

Love this gem of a place we happened upon on our way to Carolina Beach. Great jams and fresh breads to choose from. Will definitely make it a point to stop and pick up fresh bread here during our beach trips. Friendly service and super cute spot.

Help I can?t stop eating alllll the bread. Apple pie bread is of course THE KING of all the breads. I love the sourdough. I love the sauerkraut rye. I love the cookies. Heck, I love it all. Go get yourself a nice fresh baked loaf and impress your dinner guests. Oh and they bake it fresh every morning. Yum!

I visited the Breadsmith the first Monday they opened. The first thing I noticed was how clean the store was and how friendly the staff were. I was able to sample different breads and desserts that they had freshly made. I purchased a Mediterranean Herb bread as well as a Cobblestone dessert bread. Saturday morning at 9, one would expect really fresh, crusty bread and rolls, instead I got product that was obviously baked at best last night or even yesterday. It seemed refrigerated as it was cool to the touch with a soft crust. I just wanted a crusty bread and roll, what I got was something that could have come from packaged bread in a supermarket.
