Concorde - Portimão

Bulli and Pupe serves a fine pizza, but the atmosphere is very manic. There seemed to be a lot of staff running around, but not an awful lot happening in fact I found the service to be quite slow. It seemed to be a victim of its own success, with the staff being almost complacent. Not a bad meal, but I wouldn't go again if I visited the resort again.

I have been here a few times in the last 3 years, this year it has been renamed Bistro. Just got back this week, and had a lovely meal there October 2014. They are doing a 3 course set menu for 9.90 euros. They have a pizza oven which is at the front of the kitchen, and you can see you pizzas being cooked, and they are lovely! The decor is modern and clean, which gives it a great atmosphere, and we sat where they had comfy armchair type seats. Very good service (although they brought our main meals out before our starters), the food was excellent, and they had a large selection of desserts, including tiramasu, cheesecake and banoffee pie. Very good value for money, very nice place, highly recommended

If this is the same restaurant i 'm thinking of, it 's a bit of a best-kept secret. it 's in the 'commercial centre ' in Praia da Rocha , right in the middle of the strip, and looks like a cheap and dull cafe, but they serve surprisingly good pizzas with amazing fresh dough and lovely fresh salad. good service and prices- don 't dismiss it for the uninspiring decor!
