I had garlic bread with cheese, my favorite pizza with prosciutto and rakete and a bowl of pistazi...gelato it was all excellent and the service was great. it is easily missed as it is located behind a closed restaurant, but look for Humberto’s and it is next to it.
La gioconda was a lively place. we were well supplied with food drink. personal management was attentively friendly. I would recommend this place
Beautiful meal, great service, wonderful vegetarian options and a clear passion for serving great quality food. Pizzas were yummy and the wild mushroom tagliatelle was divine!
Due to the pandemic, we wanted to contribute to the local economy durinh our holiday, so we decided to go out for dinner. We chose this restaurant because it was close to our apartment. Me, my wife and our two kids felt very safe the...whole time. The safety measures were quite good and we needed to show our vaccine certificates to enter. My kids had a wonderful Pizza, my wife had great Lasanha de Carne and I loved my Spaguetti Alla Carbonara. They had a good variety of dessert too. The price wasn't high. We had a very good experience so we highly recommed this restaurant.
I have been travelling on my own and felt really comfortable in this really popular and busy restaurant. Unless you have reserved, it's pot luck if you can get a table after 20:30. Understandably, because of their popularity, they only do a set menu up...to 15:00, which is fair enough. The pizzas are fantastic as are the marinaded ribs and the bitoque (came with a great sauce/gravy). The desserts are clearly made on site and to die for. Great value at €4. It is hidden away behind a closed front row restaurant (next to Humberto's) so although you won't get a seaview, you will get excellent food and service. Try it, you won't be disappointed.
