My son and I had dinner here and were given bread and butters without ordering, which we were then charged for. Possibly normal practice for Portugal, but I would have refused them had I known. I ordered the tomato pesto risotto which was priced just...over 15€. One of the staff, possibly a head waiter, manager or owner, suggested a “new” dish, not yet on the menu, cheese ravioli. Foolishly, I didn’t ask the price, assuming that if such a suggestion was made, it would be comparable. The little bowl of ravioli was good, but definitely not worth the 31€ I was shocked to discover on the bill! In fact, it left me feeling a little fleeced, like I must have had a “dumb tourist” sign on my forehead. Only a couple of other things on the entire menu were priced higher, and I seriously doubt this “new” dish will end up on their menu for this price. Spoiled what could have been a lovely dining experience.

We were recommended this restaurant before arriving in Priai du Rocha, so we booked it in advance! It did not disappoint. The location overlooking the beach was magical. The staff were very friendly, attentive and service was excellent. But the food… WOW! We struggled to...choose as the menu offered so many delicious meat and seafood options and each course was more delicious than the last! It was Michelin star quality food at high street prices. I would have happily paid double for the meal! Definitely a must-try when visiting Portimao. I’m just sad we didn’t go back for a second visit!

We just had a wonderful meal at the F Restaurant. Solicitous, prompt, courteous service, delicious food prepared exquisitely with great originality. A gorgeous setting with a beautiful view to Praia da Rocha and a delightful atmosphere. Highly recommended for a different dining experience.
