Consistent high quality. Fernando and his family and staff are superb. We loved the wine barrels which means you pay 7.50 euros each and take as many carafes back to your table as you wish. The. choices are excellent and cooking equal to that. Nothing I could ask to improve except the taxi charges to and from Penina hotel which add 40 euros to the cost of an evening at one of the best restaurants in this area. It’s a must visit restaurant

We went with good friends who go here often and know the team well. The value and service cannot be faulted. I chose the lamb which was excellent but my wife was less happy with her choice of liver. The place was full and I could see not only the “free wine” but also some special bottles for purchase. Easy parking. Not far to drive from Alvor. Must need booking well in advance.

A wonderful place. Fernando the owner greeted us on arrival in word perfect English. He ran us through the menu and his staff took over to ensure we had a great experience. The food was delicious. A truly great place to eat and be entertained. Not the place for wine snobs. There are two big barrels, one with white and one with red. All you can drink for 5 euros. Heaven.

It was a great culinary and cultural experience! amazing decor inside with magnificent views! we were there for lunch. delicious Portuguese cuisine and everything you can drink! what else could be better!
