Their combination banh mi one of the best we found in the area and my partner loves their vegetarian banh mi, which rivals ones even from Westminster, LA. If you're not into banh mi's, this place also has great selections of Vietnamese savory snacks, like their stuffed rice rolls, dippable beef stew, and those saucer looking white things with shrimp powder and fried scallions.
This 5/5 review is for Binh Minh's mastery of the plain Banh Mi recipe! If you want to make your own Banh Mi with your chosen fillings or eat them with anything, Binh Minh is your place in PDX! Please do not waste your money and time to get it anywhere else! When you get Binh Minh's to-go bag, it typically comes with five personal-size plain Banh Mi. You can leave them out for up to a week, or in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks, or freeze them as long as you want; reheat them in the air fryer or any oven reheating of your choice, and they still taste like freshly baked, airy, fluffy, and crispy right out of the oven! Fast food, deli-style setting mostly for to-go food. Quick service, small family-owned. They have other pre-made Vietnamese foods you can buy to make your own at home or reheat to eat them at home. Their Banh Mi with filling is okay. Drinks are mediocre. Their Pate/Liver Spread to make your own Banh Mi at home is better than most places in PDX!
Great Vietnamese deli with banh mi, pre-packaged savory items, hot steam buns, and a menu of soups and other hot dishes. The banh mi is great and easy to eat. Maybe a bit low on the filling-to-bread ratio, but for a $6 sandwich I can’t really complain. I want to go back and try the Bo Kho
