I have always loved her sandwiches (snort to someone on the blazers,) and happy to see the sandwiches are again as a grab and go option to get so fast and get out! also not sour to the chocolate dripping butter reis crunchy treat sample. they are still out of the flow so that they seem to sell out their sandwiches quickly only fyi, but after chat with the owner it sounds like on the sandwiches there are some more options after the large opening are added. beer, weeping, packing, a panini? about what is already there, this place has been all! super impressed with the selection of salty and sweet snack options with many local providers and wheel that also gives gifts. so far the cacio e pepe taralli cracker ikyk and the snaps ingwersnaps were. love what is going on and in excited to see what comes from break bread market.
Ok. So happy that the waterfront Break Bread is back open, and has reopened as a market! So handy since theres not really anything like this in this part of town. Ive always loved their sandwiches (shout out to Someone On The Blazers), and happy to see the sandwiches are back as a grab and go option, so fast to get in and out!! Also not mad at the chocolate peanut butter rice crispy treat sample. They're still figuring out the flow so they seem to sell out of their sandwiches quick just fyi, but after chatting with owner it sounds like on top of the sandwiches there are going to be some more options added after the grand opening. Beer, wine, wraps, rumors of a panini? About whats already there, this place has all the goods! Super impressed with the selection of high/low salty and sweet snack options with lots of local vendors and rad that theres also gifty things too. Faves so far have been the Cacio E Pepe Taralli crackers IYKYK, and the Snaps gingersnaps. Love whats going on and Im excited to see whats to come from Break Bread Market.
Incorrect hours listed on website for BOTH locations. The owners clearly do not know how to run a business. There are like a dozen better sandwich spots than this chain that does not care about their customers to the point that both locations have incorrect hours listed. I wasted 30 minutes driving to both of them. First to the location that says it closes at 4 but actually closes at 3 and then to the location that says it closes at 5 but actually closes at 4. The messed up thing is if the hours were just listed correctly I could have went to the one open later first and I would have made it and they would have gotten my business. What a joke. They will not be around 5 years from now, I guarantee it. This is one of those shortlived businesses that is decent but goes down the drain due to incompetent ownership.
The sandwiches at this location are just grab and go with a more limited selection. I got some kind of turkey one with a sweet jammy spread and thought it was pretty solid. It probably needed like another 25% of filling to really get the ratios right though. The sweet/soft bread was a nice match overall.
Break Bread market will become a major Oregon destination because it's brilliantly curated and SO EASY. You pop in, pick out, and you're done. Everything is exactly waht you want or beyond your dreams. Congratulations to the team that put this brilliant market together.
