Canton Pearl - Portland

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and I was impressed by the excellent service provided by the friendly staff. The food was delicious and well-portioned for a reasonable price. I particularly enjoyed the Kung Pao Chicken, Pork Fried Rice, and Hot and Sour Soup. However, I found the Sweet and Sour Chicken to be overly breaded, resembling a doughnut hole with a piece of chicken inside. My mother liked her meal but wished the Sweet and Sour Chicken had a more vibrant red color, even though it had the right flavor. I believe the atmosphere could benefit from an update, as the booth seats were cracked. I look forward to returning to try more dishes!

This is the best Chinese food I've tried in the Portland area. Everything is fresh and flavorful, and the chopsticks are good quality plastic—not the flimsy kind. The sweet and sour chicken was outstanding, and both the hot and sour soup and egg drop soup were fantastic. They also accept American Express!

The food here is excellent and incredibly fresh. I will definitely return and highly recommend this restaurant!

The best Cantonese food I've ever had! It's a cozy little place that is very clean. It's a good atmosphere. The decor is nice without being overdone. The owner is friendly and the service is the best. The prices are very good and the food is perfection. The portions are very large.

The egg rolls are hands down the most wonderful I've ever had!! They are enormous!
