Charlie's Teriyaki - Portland

I was incredibly impressed by the beef vegetable teriyaki that was prepared right in front of me using fresh ingredients. It's honestly the best I've ever had. The restaurant itself was quite unassuming, but the quality of the food was remarkable, especially considering that it was prepared and served at midnight.

The food was outstanding! I had a delicious, tender beef teriyaki that came with a generous serving of rice and a side of vegetables. The drink prices were quite reasonable as well, and the chef is very quick. It's also a spot where people go to gamble, so the atmosphere isn't particularly pretty or cozy. However, if you don't mind that, you can enjoy a lovely dinner in a quiet location right at the corner near SE Powell.

This little hidden gem offers fantastic food! Honestly, I didn't expect such amazing quality in this area. If you're looking for late-night teriyaki, this is the place to go. Highly recommend!

Food was semi edible. There was literally 8 empty Corona bottles behind the counter just sitting for no reason. Didn't get the chicken because I was concerned for food contamination.

The food was...okay, but the service and atmosphere were pretty bad. This place us really more about the on-site video poker than the food.
