Contribuisci feedbackFor a nice lunch spot, this Cuban place is amazing. For bowls, sandwiches, and platters under $20 you will definitely be satisfied. The Cuban sandwich with tostones was delicious.Definitely see outside in the back, if the weather is nice.
We came in during the holidays while it was chilly out, and this place really hit the spot. I got a cafe cubano and pollito bowl, and everything was reasonably priced, the portions were sizable, and most importantly for me, the maduros were perfect. I'd happily eat here every time we come to Portland!
I have yet to have something on their menu I don 't care for. The staff is very friendly, establishment was clean inside and out. I love all the color and their own parking lot. hard to find in pdx the Havana bowl is my favorite, not spicy but full of flavor. I would like to add they are quick to deliver food also so if your in a hurry great little lunch spot! I hear they have live music in the evenings and a great patio area also for it.
We got the guava chicken, ropa vieja, coconut mojito and a mango mojito. They were quick and the foods seasoned well. We both felt full in the end thanks to the Rice and beans. We both also loved the mojitos and they offer a happy hour during the week that would definitely be worth stopping by just for the drinks. We wish there was a little more meat but that’s mainly because of how good it was.
We hadn't heard of this place before stopping in, but it was hot and we were hungry. SO WORTH THE STOP.We had a Cuban Sandwich with Fried Plantains, and a child's size Guava Chicken Plate and Yucca. The child's size option was great because it was still plenty of food, but $6 cheaper. Both dishes were amazingly flavorful and came out surprisingly fast, considering how busy they were.Definitely worth stopping in!Dietary restrictions: Almost all dishes were gluten and dairy free.
