Although parking was a bit tricky, this turned out to be one of the best dining experiences we had during our four-night stay in Portland. They offered local craft beers and ales for $6 a pint, and I enjoyed a lovely chardonnay for $9. My husband thoroughly enjoyed his French Dip sandwich ($16), which came with enough fries to feed three people. I chose the asparagus Eggs Benedict ($15), and it was absolutely fantastic. They didn’t charge for extra hollandaise sauce, and it was served atop crispy polenta cakes that still make my mouth water just thinking about it. I highly recommend this place!
I initially planned to visit another restaurant, but they had run out of an item I wanted. So, I decided to search for nearby restaurants on Google, and this one was the first on the list. I ordered the pretzel and the macaroni and cheese, and I must say, the mac and cheese was incredible. I also tried the bread pudding, which came with a generous scoop of ice cream on top. I definitely want to return to this place when I'm in the area to try one of their burgers. Additionally, the waitress was very attentive and helped me choose what to order. I don't remember her name, but she had blonde hair and was working the late afternoon shift.
I had an amazing time at this restaurant! The craft cocktails were fantastic, and everything else was made from scratch. There’s plenty of seating available, both indoors and outdoors, and the waitstaff was excellent. With a wide variety of food and drink options, we were thrilled to have such delicious dining during our trip home. Don't miss the mimosa flight and the chicken and biscuit **** Mary to kick off your day in style!
We had a wonderful Valentine's dinner. The photo shows the outdoor seating area, which was warmer than the inside thanks to the new heater you can see in the picture. There was plenty of space between the tables on the patio. The service, food, and drinks were all excellent.
The biscuits with mushroom gravy was insanely delicious; I added a side of cooked veggies and I don't think the biscuits with gravy would have been enough food for me otherwise. I also had the veggie **** Mary which was fantastic. My friend got the Caprese eggs Benedict which, all though it was tasty, was very one-note; we smothered it in hot sauce to give it an edge against the subtle creamy flavors of the hollandaise. Over all, good brunch experience!
