Fabiano's River House Grill - Portland

The food was average. The olive burger was overcooked, while the kids' burger was undercooked (although it was actually cooked just right for an adult's burger). The service was very friendly and polite, but it was slow given that there were only 2-3 tables. None of the food was bad, but nothing stood out enough to make me want to return, except for the pizza—they really have that figured out. There were too many flies for an indoor setting, and the place could definitely use a better cleaning.

If you have a food allergy, I highly recommend avoiding this place! The waitstaff rolled her eyes when I mentioned I couldn’t have gluten or dairy due to seizure triggers. To top it off, my breakfast was prepared with butter. Unbelievable! Additionally, the service was quite unfriendly, and the other meals at our table were mediocre at best. We didn’t even finish them. I will definitely not be returning. What a disappointment!

What a charming little restaurant! The salmon was outstanding, and our server was fantastic.

Food was ok. Water picture for refilling our water was old cracked and stained. We had to ask 3 times for extra napkins. Pesky Flys were plentiful there, very irritating.

Nice location right on the point where the Looking Glass and Grand rivers converge. Cool outdoor seating area right between the rivers. Food was very good and reasonably priced.
