My personal entry into things were their bowls, especially the scalop dish and if I wanted to treat myself, I would get the Chirashi bowl. I was sad when I left a few weeks ago and saw that they're closed now. I am glad that I have to get many great meals from them and wish everyone the best in the future!
Fish Rice was the next stop on my Sushi Tour from PDX with my people. Every few weeks we try a new sushi spot in PDX to enjoy the restaurant on this delicious cuisine. I generally order a day in advance to return to my people. Service here is excellent. The order on the phone was a breeze and the person who took my order was very helpful in deciding what to get. The shop is more designed like a cafe than a traditional sushi restaurant. It definitely has a funny living PDX vibe. In NW PDX parking, there can be a bit of a challenge here, as there are no easily accessible street parking nearby. There is a parking lot over the street, but I don't think the facility counts as part of the shopping center. I parked there anyway and had no problems. Even though the place may not allow a traditional Japanese sushi shop or Izakaya to fool you. Your sushi is top-notch. The fish was fresh and tasteful. Their roles were also imaginative and tasty. The prices were also decent. I would definitely recommend checking Fish Rice if you ever did in the NW 23rd range. It is worth stopping when you have eaten some sushi or poke!
We've made a few poke and were close, so we stopped to close the time for some takeout. Nice place, easy to find parking. I got the salmon bowl and the firecrackers sauce was so good! On the way back.
This place is great. I like how clean and modern their atmosphere is. The lady was really nice and helped me load my phone. We tried the winemaker appetizers and two sushi plates. The sushi plates were decorated as it was from a 2 star Michelin restaurant. The taste was also good. I liked the crab salad that came with the sushi. It was made with real crabs. Wontons were just like that.
Have been looking for a poke spot, and happy to have found this one. Generous portion, really good fish. Got the salmon bowl which comes with tortilla chips yum!
